Take an artistic twist with your Photographs

Whether you an amateur, professional, or just-for-fun photographer, sometimes it is enjoyable to break out of the traditional realm of photography and step into the artistic image manipulation arena.

It really just provides a whole new perspective on the original picture and might even generate more ideas for you. I first tried artistic image effects using PostworkShop Pro. PostworkShop Pro has over 350 different artistic styles within the categories of Painting, Drawing, Graphic Arts, Building Blocks, and Photo.

Initially when I started applying styles to my photographs, I just applied them individually with a single click. Then after I was more comfortable and felt the flow of creativity coursing through my veins, I started layering and blending both styles and images.

Several examples from two photos, definitely click each to see a full screen version which will more accurately demonstrate the style and capabilities. Each one below looks great when printed either in a small or large print.

You can create you own unique styles through layering and adjusting the multiple properties for each style.

As I started venturing to the more advanced features, I realized that there is an endless supply of possibilities for my photo enhancements.

While you might or might not want to use this cool application for every photograph, it does add a unique look to some of your photos.

If you like a distinct style you created save it in your favorites, and then you can use it with a single click in the future.

PostworkShop even works with standard industry applications like Adobe Photoshop allowing you to transfer data and images in between both applications.

PostworkShop has three versions the Basic, Artist, and the Pro and is compatible with both Mac and PC. The Basic version is free, but does have limited functionality. The Artist is $49 and the Pro is $99.
It is an affordable, and innovative product for under $100.
