Another article showing its age. No mention of the Sony A7C. The 7C might have been designed just for street work. Anyone looking at a camera for streetwork today has to consider this model.
DPS seems to reprint articles from previous years with no attempt to bring them up to date and the artticles therefore are misleading. C’mon, you can do better than this.

A nice insight into a range of cameras suitable for street – just one slight error; with the ‘Cons’ against the Sony RX100 VII; you say ‘The small image sensor results in less depth of field…’ my understanding is that a small image sensor increases depth of field – I think you meant that the small sensor makes it more difficult to create a shallow depth of field.

I’m kind of surprised the Olympus’ sensor is discussed extensively but Panasonic’s receives no mention, especially since they’re the same size (Micro 4/3).

I was interested in a Panasonic once, but then I heard their colors aren’t so great. Is that still the case?

The Z5 is cheaper than the Canon RP by only $3 (as per B&H). The RP is 40% lighter and smaller so a little strange that this didn’t make your list for street photography
